Every spring many residents in Northeast Florida begin a search for their new home at the annual Parade of Homes presented by Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA.)
The Parade of Homes showcases beautiful new homes to potential buyers. This year our model – the Ponce III – in Villages of Valencia, a quaint community in historic St. Augustine – took home first place.
MasterCraft is proud of the Pinnacle Builder status also from NEFBA. To be a Pinnacle Builder, 90 percent or more of a company’s trade partners and consultants must be NEFBA members. NEFBA does an outstanding job in providing lobbying efforts for real estate laws and provides members with networking opportunities throughout the year enabling our trade partners to increase their business as well.
At MasterCraft Builder Group we believe in giving back. Not only do we raise money for local charities through our Clays for a Cause event each year, but we contribute a $100 donation for every house we close to Builders Care. Builders Care is a non-profit whose mission is to provide affordable to no cost construction services to the elderly, disabled, other nonprofits in Northeast Florida with the kindred purpose of building a better habitat for all. We have donated more than $5,000 since our first closing in August 2011.
MasterCraft Builder Group was selected as the NEFBA ‘Builder of the Year’ in 2012. This award recognizes a home builder for its overall commitment to helping the industry as well as the local community. Our involvement in buying and developing blighted land, designing house plans for six new homes and then building all six homes, for Metro North Community Development Corporation played a large role in contributing to our selection for ‘Builder of the Year.’ Metro North is a local 501© non- profit whose goal is to improve the quality of life and restore pride in Jacksonville’s core city communities through residential and commercial rehabilitation and development, community based programming, recreational enhancements, neighborhood beautification and improving the education and health of the residents.
MasterCraft Builder Group and Metro North, through the development and construction of these six new homes, turned a blighted vacant property into a beautiful streetscape. The project also provided necessary funds to both Metro North and NEFBA’s charitable arm to enable them to continue their great job of helping the local community.
