It is another big year for MasterCraft Builder Group … maybe our best. Unlike many of the larger, cookie-cutter homebuilders that focus on sales volume, for us, success is based on the number of homeowners that appreciate quality craftsmanship we proudly put into every home we build.
It is the higher quality materials, innovative building techniques and attention to detail that distinguishes MasterCraft from other builders. It is no coincidence that our home designs received many awards from local residents and renowned judges each year at the annual Parade of Homes presented by Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA).
The Parade of Homes showcases beautiful new homes to potential buyers. For this year’s competition, we captured two of Parade of Homes’ most prestigious awards including the “Buyer’s Choice Award: Best Kitchen” for our Egret model in Shearwater and the coveted “Judge’s Overall High Score” for our San Sebastian model in Madeira won award, beating out 91 other model homes.
The honors didn’t stop there. The same San Sebastian model also won a first place gold award for the $465,000-$480,000 home price category, and the Egret model was awarded a first place gold in the $715,000-$740,000 category.
It’s hard to put into words how honored and excited we were to receive such tremendous accolades. Ultimately, these awards are a true testament to building well-designed homes, using superior construction methods and materials, and overall, just doing what is right.
This is not the first year, nor will it be the last year we expect to be honored by NEFBA, industry professionals and our community for delivering on our promise for Higher Standards. Over the years we were named “Builder of the Year” by NEFBA for our overall commitment to helping the industry as well as the local community. We also achieved Pinnacle Builder status. To be a Pinnacle Builder, 90 percent or more of a company’s trade partners and consultants must be NEFBA members. NEFBA does an outstanding job in providing lobbying efforts for real estate laws and provides members with networking opportunities throughout the year enabling our trade partners to increase their business as well.
At MasterCraft Builder Group we believe in giving back. Not only do we raise money for local charities through our Clays for a Cause event each year but also we contribute $100 to Builders Care for every house we close. Builders Care is a non-profit whose mission is to provide affordable to no cost construction services to the elderly, disabled, other nonprofits in Northeast Florida with the kindred purpose of building a better habitat for all. To date, we’ve proudly donated more than $100,000 to various local charities and organizations since our first closing in 2011.
