MasterCraft Builder Group is proud to introduce the newest member of our team Mark Wolfe, Senior New Home Consultant for Shearwater and Silverleaf when we begin selling homes in that new community starting in 2020.
How long have you been in home building/real estate and what made you decide to choose this profession?
I earned my real estate license in 1997 and started selling new homes in 2000. I was drawn to the industry after selling my first new home. I love the fact that I’m playing such an enormous part in helping people with one of the most important purchasing decisions they’ll make.
Why did you choose to work for MasterCraft?
Semi-custom home building is something I have extensive experience and always enjoyed. To be able to come work with this team is really an honor and a privilege. I’ve known the founder, Chris Shee, since I started in new home sales, and it’s no surprise how far he’s brought this company. MasterCraft built a stellar reputation throughout St. Johns County. I’m looking forward to a long and productive relationship working here.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in new home sales?
There is always something to be learned. Learn how to ask questions properly and listen between the lines for answers.
What would you say is the most important thing to keep in mind when looking for a new home?
Many people say they’d like to downsize or upsize. It’s really more important to “right” size. I love demonstrating how proper use of space can have a much larger impact than a simple square footage count.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time traveling with friends and family is always great! When I’m not doing that, I try to keep fit by bicycling and relax by playing the piano and composing.
