Builder of the Year recipients recognized for exemplary industry standards in design and marketing.
JOHNS COUNTY, Florida (November 11, 2022) – MasterCraft Builder Group’s founder and CEO, Chris Shee, has been named the 2022 “Builder of the Year” by the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA). Affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and various home builders’ associations throughout the state, FHBA is one of the most dynamic trade organizations, with over 65 years dedicated to creating a business climate for the construction industry to prosper.
“Being recognized as Builder of the Year for the entire State of Florida is an unbelievable honor,” said MasterCraft Builder Group CEO and Founder Chris Shee. “We were over the moon elated when we won the same title through the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) in our second and tenth year of business. Now, being recognized by the FHBA is hard to believe, frankly. We don’t do what we do for the accolades; we are always committed to doing the right thing.”
In addition to being Northeast Florida’s premier home builder, MasterCraft Builder Group is known for its many philanthropic efforts. Since its founding in 2011, the organization has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local organizations with community events like Clays for a Cause and Concerts for a Cause. At the same time, their work with Builders Care of Northeast Florida provides affordable to no-cost construction services to the elderly, disabled, and other nonprofits.
“While I’m honored to be named individually for this award, it’s not fair for me to take all of the recognition,” said Shee. “The MasterCraft family deserves this award because, without their hard work and dedication, I wouldn’t be able to focus on what matters most – philanthropy. In addition, many of our folks are also very philanthropic and deserve recognition for their incredible work to make our community a better place. However, since the award is always given to the company’s owner, I gratefully accept this prestigious award in honor of my team.”
