Mastercraft Celebrates Milestone 900th Home Closing in St. Augustine

The company shared this milestone with the new homeowners, the Gray family, in the Hidden Creek neighborhood of St. Augustine’s highly sought-after SilverLeaf community.

For the Gray family, who recently relocated to Florida from the Seattle area, choosing Mastercraft came down to the builder's careful attention to detail. When designing their dream home, the Grays had two clear priorities: an expansive lot with ample outdoor space and a garage configuration that could comfortably house four vehicles. Mastercraft delivered on both counts and overcame unique site challenges to bring the family's backyard vision to life.

"By far, the greatest challenge was our pool and the limitations of our lot," said Mr. Gray. "The construction team went completely out of their way to adapt the home to the lot layout so that we could have the exact outdoor pool area we desired. Now the extended lanai and outdoor kitchen are our favorite features and where we spend most of our time at home.”

The Gray family highlighted two standout members of the Mastercraft team who went above and beyond to make the entire building and design journey seamless and memorable. Ken Cook, Project Manager, kept the family connected to the build every step of the way, sending photos each Friday of the progress being made. And Vicki Schneller, Design Consultant at Florida Home Store, guided the family through the complex design phase, leading the Grays through furniture, paint, tile, and flooring selections with helpful tips and giving the family “total confidence” in the outcome.
