While many are familiar with MasterCraft Builder’s Group annual Clays for a Cause event, we are thrilled to announce that we are the title sponsor for yet another outstanding fundraiser, Concerts for a Cause.
Concerts for a Cause is an outdoor music event located at and presented by Tringali Barn at Heritage Farms. Sponsored by MasterCraft Builder Group, Concerts for a Cause will take place at least four times per year, each benefitting a different local nonprofit organization. With two events under its belt, Concerts for a Cause has raised over $100,000 for Northeast Florida charities, including Investing in Kids (INK!) and Alpha-Omega Miracle Home.
“Concerts for a Cause is something that I’ve wanted to do for a while. We’ve had immense success raising money for local nonprofits through our company’s annual Clays for a Cause event,” explained Chris Shee, owner and President of MasterCraft Builder Group. “I wanted to continue to give back to the community through Concerts for a Cause, a Southern Rock and country music series offering a safe place to watch live music again.”
Since its commencement, Concerts for a Cause has raised a total of $106,000 for Northeast Florida charities. “Our first event raised $34,000 for Investing in Kids (INK!). So, it’s an amazing feeling to double that amount and then some for Alpha-Omega in just our second concert,” said Shee.
Proceeds raised from this year’s event will provide funding for projects that benefit the community. For example, INK! is a nonprofit organization providing tools and resources that benefit educators and students within St. Johns County. “We are very grateful to receive the generous donation from Chris and all of the sponsors to help us continue with much-needed programs and services in our area,” said Donna Lueders, INK! ‘s executive director.
At the same time, Alpha-Omega Miracle Home is a local nonprofit organization that provides housing, counseling, and education for single mothers, their children, and senior women. “Breaking the cycle of poverty cannot be accomplished alone,” explained Lisa Franklin, Founder, and CEO of Alpha-Omega Miracle Home. “We’re so incredibly grateful for Chris and Dawn Shee and their passion for helping change family legacies. The money generously raised at Concerts for a Cause will generate true hope for a brighter tomorrow. These funds will give current residents a new opportunity to learn life skills and become self-sufficient, and we’ll also be using $50,000 of the funds toward our new campus.”
MasterCraft and Community
As a local business with deep roots in Northeast Florida, we don’t just build houses. Instead, we craft homes with the belief that every homebuyer is a future neighbor and friend. As we continue to grow, we continue to invest in our community, and fundraising events such as Concerts for a Cause help make this mission possible.
At MasterCraft, our values are based on the Four C’s; Craftsmanship, Choice, Customer Service, and Community. Community is why we are committed to giving back to the people and places where we live and work.
