MasterCraft Builder Group is proud to introduce Victoria Hartwell, our new Sales and Marketing Manager.
How long have you been in home sales?
I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2011 and moved into new home sales in 2013. I joined MasterCraft BuilderGroup in October 2016, and transitioned into the position of Sales and Marketing Manager in March of this year.
What made you decide to choose real estate and new home sales as a profession?
Real estate has always been a passion of mine, long before I was a licensed agent. New construction has especially been intriguing; having the ability to build not only a home but a dream, all with starting from a piece of paper. It’s an ever-evolving process, from floor plans that are designed to change with how we live in our homes, to finding the latest and greatest in energy efficiency and structural integrity. I have been blessed with the position to help cultivate the strengths of our amazing and dedicated sales consultants who represent our company from the ground floor.
Why did you choose to come to Mastercraft and what do you love about working here?
Mastercraft is the local builder that has a hands-on approach every step of the way. They truly care about every home they build and every buyer they build for, well beyond the closing table. Their quality work, integrity, and communal sense of pride is well-known in the community, and I feel at home working for a builder who aligns themselves with such high standards.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in new home sales?
Know that your name and reputation are aligned with your employer’s name and reputation. Find a builder who shares your goals and ideals.
What would you say is the most important thing to keep in mind when looking for a new home?
Don’t just consider the purchase price as the bottom line when deciding on a home. So many factors go into your total cost of living, from the energy efficiency of a home, to association dues, to gasoline costs when commuting. Try to find a compromise on price and how you will live in the home and the community.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My weekends are typically filled with sunny days at the beach with my family, golf cart rides around the community, and stealing as many moments of snuggling that I can from my 6 year old son who is growing up much too quick.
