For a small group of aspiring football stars, having a few precious days with Jordan Todman is the opportunity of a lifetime. For two days in June, this inspirational MasterCraft Shearwater resident will be joining forces with other NFL players, like Seth Roberts (Oakland Raiders) and Blidi Wreh-Wilson (Atlanta Falcons), to help youngsters from 6-17 years of age to sharpen their skills – and learn about the value of life and education.

Who Is Jordan Todman and What Can Your Kids Learn from Him?
Jordan Todman, a native of New Bedford, Massachusetts, offers a story of hope and excellence for all of us. Jordan had troubles in his early years, admittedly “hanging around with the wrong people.” But he lifted himself up, graduated from high school and had a great football and educational experience at the University of Connecticut. Last year, he played for the Houston Texans, and is anticipating a new NFL contract.
In the meantime, Jordan mentors kids and teaches them basic football skills through his highly respected Rising-Athletes.com camps. His message is as much about perseverance and getting an education as it is crossing the goal line. It’s also about giving back. As a mentor, Jordan wants campers to learn from the mistakes he made when he was their age. He wants to build their self-esteem on and off the field and teach them to be confident in anything they do. Jordan said, “Our goal is to give them all the knowledge and skills so they’ll be better than us one day.”
