How long have you been in the home building industry?
I have been building in St Johns County for 21 years.
What made you decide to choose this as a profession?
When I first moved to Florida 23 years ago I couldn’t find a job. I started cleaning up construction lots for a builder on the beach. Two years later I was building houses for him and doing all the warranty work.
What’s your favorite memory from working at MasterCraft Builder Group?
It’s hard to pick one. The company attitude – there are no problems, just solutions – make coming to work every day a fun experience.
What would you say is the most important thing about working in new home building?
Customer satisfaction 100%!
What do you enjoy in your free time?
I like to play golf.
If you weren’t in the new home building industry what other profession would you be doing?
That’s a tough question. I don’t know exactly, but I would be building something!
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in new home sales and construction?
Start by selling homes and learning all you can about the building process.
