2019 is shaping up to be one of the biggest and best years for MasterCraft Builder Group. Prior to being voted the “Best Home Builder” in St. Augustine, the semi-custom homebuilder and community developer in NE Florida won three more awards at the 2019 St. Johns County Parade of Homes.
At this year’s event, MasterCraft won a First Place Gold for their Vilano Bonus model in Villages of Valencia; Silver for their Thomas Plus model in TrailMark; and the Judge’s Choice “Pick of Parade” for their Egret model in Shearwater, which is considered best in show for the entire event. MasterCraft also won “Judge’s Overall High Score” for their San Sebastian model in Madeira in the Northeast Florida Builders Association’s Parade of Homes in 2018.
“When we started this company back in April of 2011, I had one goal, to try and build exclusively in St. Johns County and to build homes that I was proud to walk through versus cookie-cutter production homes put up by big national brands” said

What Is SJBC’s Parade of Homes?
The Parade of Homes features new homes and models built in St. Johns County’s new home communities. It allows the public to tour through the homes to see what each builder and community offers. A panel of professional judges walks through and scores each home. Judges are picked because of their knowledge in the building, construction and home sales experience.
“We continue to design new homes for each community based on how our homeowners live versus using the same plans over and over again,” said Shee.
“Ultimately, these awards are a true testament to building well-designed homes, using superior construction methods and materials, and overall, just doing what is right.”
